Who was Dr. Seuss?

I would say Dr. Seuss's series of children books are the craziest and funniest children books I have ever read.  I admire his imaginative mind and excellent skill in connecting some unrelated things but you won't see it absurd.  GG and WW also love the books so much.

Then I am interested to know how Dr. Seuss grew up.  That book "Who was Dr. Seuss"was a junior book, it's easier for me to read ( I lost my English in the world of PTH drama :(  ) So glad to know that how the famous Dr. Seuss books like "Green eggs and ham"were written.   that would be great at all time to know what the author would like to deliver the message for.  (that's why i love Sodagreen's sodazine so much.  they are one of the few singers/band would share their mind/idea of each song and album with fans in so details.)

Below are the list of Dr. Seuss books mentioned in this book, remark it here as reference:

in chronological order but not a complete list:

And to think that i saw it on Mulberry Stree (his first book)
The seven lady godivas (non-children book)
Thidwick the big-hearted moose (first book after the world warII)
The cat in the hat (until now i figure out the difference between published by Random House and Houghton Mifflin.  RH is the publisher Dr. Seuss stayed with till his death. HM is the publisher would only see his books to the schools and libraries. No wonder always see diff publisher of his books)
Are you my mother? Go, Dog. Go! (by his friend P.D. Eastman)
Green eggs and ham
How the Grinch stole christmas (i doubt Grinch is the base character of a US movie by Jim Carrey)
The cat in the hat come back
one fish two fish red fish blue fish
hop on pop
Yertile the turtle and other stories (Yertile based on Hitler)
The sneetches and other stories (the message behind was for black people struggling for their civil rights)
The Lorax (about natural world protection)
The Butter Battle Book (won the US Pulitzer Prize)
Oh the Places you'll go (as a review of his life and his last book)
