Show and tell

Since K1, Gg 's class has a Show and Tell session on alternate Fridays for the kids to present their favorite things in front of the class. So absent mind me forgot to prepare her stuff to show last time. I was so sorry to that and told GG to remember to take her own thing to share next time. Since then, she always put her favorite toys into her school bag. Maybe, she doesn't know when is the Show and Tell session and to play safe, it's better to have standby toys in school bag every day. Hahaha!

Last Friday was a session for classmates with odd student number(not for her, her no is even). I had a look on the school pictures took last week. Obviously she looked not in mood during the Show and Tell session. Maybe , what in her mind was "when will be my turn? I have not brought anything to school." . I am sure that she had no idea of odd and even student number.

Seldom she talked anything to about her school life but she did ask me after last Friday,"Why I did not bring anything to school for Show and Tell?"

On this Monday morning, I told GG to decide what to bring for her Show and Tell on the coming Friday. She picked a Winne the Pooh doll and insisted to put it into school bag. We stressed for many times that its on Friday but she just kept on saying she needed to bring today.  Dad told her to ask her school bus friends, if confirmed its on Friday, he would take it back. Of course, Pooh followed Dad home finally.

Thinking on the other side, if I prepared perfectly for her, she might not be so cared about bringing her stuff to school.  So, occasionally absent mind of mum may help child growing up. Haha!
